Eden Juron Pearlman

Interim Executive Director
Eden Juron Pearlman (she/her/hers) is a seasoned consultant focusing on the not-for-profit sector. She has broad experience in executive leadership and nonprofit strategy and enjoys serving the not-for-profit community through interim leadership and project management.
Eden Juron Pearlman has worked extensively in the not-for-profit sector, including serving as Interim Executive Director at Meals on Wheels Northeastern Illinois, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Pritzker Military Museum and Library (Interim President) and Care for Friends. She was the longtime Executive Director of the Evanston History Center.
Eden holds a Bachelors Degree in Art History from the University of Illinois, as well as a Master’s Degree in History of Architecture and Art and a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies, from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She has been on the faculty of University of Illinois, Chicago, and Roosevelt University, teaching Introduction to Art History. She has published widely including entries in Women Building Chicago 1790-1990 and The Union League Club of Chicago Art Collection. Eden and her husband, Neal live in Lincoln Park. She enjoys walking on the lakefront, yoga and dining at Chicago’s amazing restaurants.

Biography

Hope has dedicated her career to working in the Chicago nonprofit sector. Prior to Care For Friends, she worked as a Program Director at Greenheart Travel, where she was responsible for the oversight, growth and development of international youth programs. 

As a Program Coordinator at Vietnamese Migrant Workers and Brides Office, Hope worked with partner organizations and government officials to research, develop and facilitate recreational programs for victims of human trafficking in shelters and detention centers.  

Her interest in working with Chicago communities began when she first started working at the Marriott Foundation. With them, she worked with Chicago Public Schools, Chicago employers, and inner-city youth, as well as conducted client recruitment and managed the WIA grant database. 

Hope received her Bachelor’s degree (BA) from St. Norbert College (2004), and her Masters degree (MA) from the School for International Training (2010) with a concentration in Intercultural Service, Leadership, and Management.
